Design, Synthesis, Biological Evaluation and Molecular Docking Studies of 5-fluorouracil-dithiocarbamate Conjugates

Background: Novel anti-tumor bioactivity compounds were designed by the strategy of modular hybridization with advantages 5-fluorouracil and dithiocarbamate derivatives. Methods: A series novel 5-fluorouracil-dithiocarbamate conjugates synthesized, characterized evaluated for their cytotoxic activities in vitro against B16, Hela U87MG MTT assay. Colony-formation, transwell migration, cell apoptosis cycle distribution assays performed to explore mechanism P3 P4. Conjugates, derivatives combined copper ions investigated molecular docking. Results: The results cytotoxicity illuminated that these had activity U87MG. Interestingly, was significantly increased when ions, compound displayed better compared other compounds. Conjugates might be metabolized cells produce dithiocarbamates, then metabolites formed complexes generating effects. Molecular docking studies exhibited appeared strongest interaction receptors 6CCY 5T92. Conclusion: Compound emerged as lead treatment glioma.
